MRC5049 is a right-hand rear sill panel fitted to Defender models. It forms the outer lower section of the body at the rear doorway and carries door seal and trim fixings. When fitted it locates and supports external trim components and the door sealing surfaces, and interfaces with adjacent body sections at flange lines and fixing points to re-establish the original outer profile and mounting points for trims and seals.
