MWC1480 is a door link rod that connects the exterior right-hand front door handle to the door latch on Defender models. Fitted between the outside handle and the latch mechanism, it transmits the mechanical pull or push from the handle to release the latch and allow the door to open; replace if bent, corroded or if joint ends become worn and cause play.
