Land Rover Part Number: NRC6372 - Front Shock Absorber Turret
NRC6372 is a front shock absorber turret that forms the upper mounting for the front shock absorber and secures the damper assembly to the inner wing. It locates and retains the top of the shock absorber, provides the interface for the retaining rings (part number RNJ500010) and works with the lower suspension spring seat plates (part number NRC9700). When fitted and installed correctly, the turret keeps the damper aligned with the suspension spring and the vehicle structure. This turret is used on Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic front suspension assemblies where this style of mounting is specified.
