NTC1484 is a front exhaust silencer fitted to the front section of the exhaust system on Range Rover Classic diesel and V8 EFi models up to VIN FA399972. The silencer reduces noise from exhaust gases and guides those gases toward the rear of the vehicle; internal chambers and flow paths are used to lower sound levels while retaining the exhaust flow and back-pressure characteristics required by diesel and EFi V8 engines.
