NTC1888 is an Anti-Roll Bar Drop Link for front and rear fitment. Fitted to the anti-roll bars, the ball-joint drop link connects the anti-roll bar to the lower suspension arm and transfers lateral loads to maintain roll control; the spherical joint and fitted bush allow the necessary pivoting while helping to damp vibration. Worn or noisy joints can permit endplay, producing clunks over bumps and a less direct handling feel, and replacing the drop link restores a direct mechanical connection between the bar and lower arm.
