NTC3285 is a rear left coil spring fitted to the rear suspension of Range Rover Classic models. Fitted alongside the bottom link and road springs, this coil supports the vertical load at the left side of the rear axle, controls axle movement through compression and extension during wheel travel, and helps define static ride height. The correct spring rate and orientation are required to preserve rear axle geometry and ride characteristics; this left-hand spring is identified in some parts records by a green and pink stripe.
