NTC9236 is a Steering Drop Arm for right-hand drive vehicles fitted with power steering. This steering lever drop arm connects the steering box output to the steering linkage and is fitted to the steering assembly on Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic right-hand drive models. As a load-bearing steering component it transmits the load between the steering box output and the drag link or track rod end, locating the steering linkage and influencing steering geometry and tracking; any wear or damage will affect steering feel and alignment. When replacing the drop arm, check associated steering joints and bushes for wear and ensure secure attachment to the steering box and linkage. Do not use where left-hand drive steering geometry is required.
