Land Rover Part Number: PCF000012 - Cooling System Expansion Tank
PCF000012 is a cooling system expansion tank fitted to Freelander 1 models. Suitable for petrol engines and Td4 diesel engines, this tank does not include a coolant warning sensor. It provides a reservoir for expanding coolant, returns fluid to the circuit as the engine cools, and gives a visible level for routine checks; it connects to the radiator and header hoses and includes an overflow outlet to manage excess fluid during thermal cycles.
Please note: The cap required for this tank is part number PCD500030; on pre-2003 vehicles the older cap PCD100160 will not fit and the later cap is required.
