PEL000060 is a Thermostat and Housing Assembly fitted to the M62 B44 4.4 V8 petrol engine. It controls coolant flow by opening and closing the thermostat valve and incorporates the integral temperature sensor which supplies coolant temperature data to the engine management system for fuel, ignition and fan control. The housing locates and seals the thermostat within the coolant passages and provides the mechanical interface for the sensor and coolant hoses. This unit replaces the complete thermostat, housing and sensor assembly in a single part for Range Rover L322 models.
