PHF500090 is a Mass Air Flow Sensor for 3.0 TDV6 and 3.6 V8 diesel engines. Fitted into the engine air intake, the sensor measures the mass of incoming air and provides a proportional electrical signal to the engine control unit to assist with fuel metering, injector timing and turbocharger control. There are two MAF sensors per engine. Contamination or failure can cause incorrect fuel metering or altered engine running characteristics, so ensure the replacement matches the engine type and VIN.
