PIB000080 is a fuel cooler assembly fitted to the fuel system of Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel engines. The unit is a heat-exchange component that cools fuel returned from the engine so cooler fuel reaches the tank and fuel delivery components; this reduces vapour formation in the fuel lines and lowers thermal stress on the high-pressure fuel pump and injectors.
