PRC5072 is an Indicator, Horn and Headlamp Dip Switch Assembly fitted to the steering column of Range Rover Classic models. The single stalk provides combined control of the vehicle indicators, the horn electrical contact and the headlamp dip (flash/dip) function; the indicator contacts operate the turn signals and provide the self-cancelling return action, the horn contact completes the horn circuit when pressed, and the dip switch selects or momentarily flashes the dipped beam. The assembly comprises the mechanical stalk and the internal switching contacts required to route each circuit through the steering column, and replacing this unit restores steering-column mounted control where those functions are intermittent or non-responsive.
