PRC8001 is a coolant temperature sensor, diesel, with an orange electrical connector. Fitted into the thermostat housing of the 2.5L 200 Tdi engine on Discovery 1 models, the sensor measures engine coolant temperature to provide input to the engine management system and the dashboard temperature gauge.
