PRC8463 is a fuel tank sender unit for diesel long-wheelbase Defender 110 and 130 models fitted up to VIN JA915357. The sender fits into the fuel tank and measures fuel level using a float arm and a resistive (potentiometric) element, converting float position into a variable electrical output that is sent to the dashboard fuel gauge. It must be correctly mounted and sealed at the tank aperture to ensure accurate readings and to prevent vapour or liquid ingress.
Please note: Replacement sealing ring and locking clamp part numbers are ARA1502L and ARA1501L.
