PRC8593 is an engine temperature sensor that fits into the engine thermostat housing. It measures coolant temperature at the thermostat housing and transmits that signal to the vehicle's temperature circuit so temperature indication and related systems receive an accurate reading.
Please note: Not suitable for 200Tdi Discovery engines so be careful if your Defender has been converted with a Discovery engine.
