PRC9409 is an in-tank electric fuel pump and sender unit. Fitted inside the fuel tank, the assembly draws petrol through a strainer and supplies a steady flow to the fuel rail for electronic fuel-injected petrol engines; the sender uses a float arm and variable resistor to generate the fuel level signal for the instrument cluster. The unit mounts within the tank and includes the required fuel and electrical connections - when replacing, ensure the tank entry seal and wiring connector are serviceable and confirm correct orientation and full float travel.
