QFK500020 is an inner M20 tie rod fitted to Discovery 3 models. Installed at the inner end of the track rod assembly, it connects the steering rack to the steering linkage to transfer steering input to the steering arm. The M20 threaded connection secures the part to the rack end while the outer end of the track rod connects to the steering knuckle via the outer tie rod and ball joint; correct fitment maintains steering geometry and the mechanical link between the steering wheel and wheel spindle. Replace as part of steering rack or track rod servicing when wear or damage is present and check the joint and thread condition during installation.
Please note: Fits the left hand side of right hand drive models and the right hand side of left hand drive models.
