QHH100001 is a Steering Damper Assembly. Fitted between the chassis and the steering linkage on Discovery 2 models, this damper reduces steering kick and dampens oscillations to improve directional stability during high-speed driving and when encountering impacts from rough terrain. Worn seals and internal damping components will reduce effectiveness over time; replacing a worn damper restores the intended damping characteristics and predictable steering behaviour.
Please note: For a replacement fitting bolt use part number ANR1193 and for the nut use part number ANR1000.
