Fitted to either the left or right upper front suspension arm on Range Rover L322 models, this bush provides a resilient interface between the arm and the vehicle structure, absorbing vibration and isolating metal-to-metal contact while allowing controlled movement of the suspension arm under load. When the bush wears or degrades the upper arm can develop excessive play, resulting in steering instability, uneven tyre wear and audible noise from the front suspension; replacement of worn bushes restores correct arm location and reduces unwanted movement at the suspension mounting.
