RBX101800 is a right-hand lower wishbone housing and bush assembly. Fitted to Freelander 1 front suspension, this housing locates the right-hand lower wishbone and contains the elastomeric bush that forms the rotating interface between the wishbone and the vehicle chassis. The bush permits controlled pivoting and small angular movement while the housing captures and aligns the bush within the suspension carrier; under load the assembly transmits steering, braking and suspension forces from the wheel end into the vehicle structure. Over time the elastomer can degrade or the housing can wear, which may produce increased suspension play, noise or changes in tracking. This assembly is a serviceable component during front suspension renewal or wishbone replacement operations.
