RNB000740 is a right-hand front air spring and strut assembly fitted to the right-hand front suspension of Range Rover L322 models. The unit combines an air spring (air bag) with a damper (shock absorber) to control ride height under varying loads while providing damping control of wheel movement. It is supplied as a complete assembly for direct replacement of the right-hand front corner, avoiding the need to source separate air spring and damper components. A common fault on air-sprung systems is deterioration of the air bag; a perished bag can develop a leak and cause the affected corner to sit low. When the suspension is placed into extended mode a leak may be audible as a hissing sound that is normally hidden when the bag folds at normal ride height.
