Fitted to the front suspension of Discovery 2 models with coil springs, this damper controls vertical wheel movement, provides damping and helps maintain the designed ride height under varying loads. The self-levelling mechanism alters the damper response as vehicle load changes so the front end remains close to the intended ride height when carrying passengers or cargo. This unit is specified for Discovery 2 examples built from VIN XA237290 through to VIN 2A999999; do not use this unit on vehicles equipped with the ACE active cornering enhancement system.
