RNB103694 is a front shock absorber for air suspension. Fitted at the front axle on vehicles with air springs, it controls vertical suspension movement by converting kinetic energy into heat inside the damper and works with the self-levelling height-control components to maintain the vehicle at the set ride height under varying load. A correctly operating damper reduces excessive body roll, limits pitch during braking and helps preserve steering response and tyre contact with the road.
Please note: Each shock absorber is supplied fitted with new upper and lower bushes. For bush-only replacement use ROA100040 for the lower bush and ROA100050 for the upper bush.
