RNB501580 is a Front Shock Absorber Complete Assembly - Air Spring fitted to the front suspension of Discovery 3 models. The assembly combines the hydraulic shock absorber and an integrated air spring into a single unit to control vertical wheel movement, manage rebound and compression and support ride height under varying loads. Introduced on Discovery 3 models from mid 2008 onwards, this part supersedes earlier Discovery 3 front air dampers. The complete unit includes both the hydraulic shock (refer RSC500190) and the air bag (refer LR016403) when sourced as separate items.
