RPD102333 is a rear shock absorber specified for the coil-spring rear suspension on Discovery 2 (L318) models built 1998-2004 without Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE). The damper mounts between the rear axle assembly and the vehicle body using the standard top and bottom rear damper fixings and is supplied individually. Please note: Will not fit models fitted with Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE). Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.
The RPD102333 controls vertical movement of the rear suspension by damping spring oscillation and wheel rebound through hydraulic resistance, reducing bounce after impacts and improving ride control on uneven surfaces.
