RTC299310 is a 0.010in undersize big end bearing set. It is fitted where the connecting rod journals have been machined to accept 0.010in undersize bearing shells on 2.5-litre 4-cylinder Land Rover petrol and diesel engines up to 300Tdi. The bearing shells sit in the rod big end and run on the crankshaft journals, controlling oil clearance and supporting the connecting rod/crankshaft interface during engine operation.
Please note: Not suitable for the VM TD engines.
