RTC4999 is a left-hand front brake caliper that clamps the brake pads onto the front left disc when hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder is applied. The caliper houses the piston and sliding hardware which convert hydraulic pressure into mechanical clamping force; it fits Defender 90 wheelbase vehicles with solid front discs, locates on the upright and retains the inner and outer pads against the disc.
