Land Rover Part Number: RTC5218E - Alternator
RTC5218E is an alternator fitted to the engine charging system of Land Rover Defender models. It supplies electrical current to recharge the battery and power the vehicle's electrical systems; on applicable 2.5L variants it also supplies the air conditioning system. Internal control components such as the voltage regulator and rectifier diodes manage charge voltage and convert alternating current into the direct current required by the battery and onboard electronics.
Please note: Battery must be fully recharged before fitting this alternator. Failure to do so may affect any future warranty claim.
