Land Rover Part Number: RTC5889 - Rear Right Hand Brake Caliper
RTC5889 is a rear right-hand brake caliper assembly fitted to the rear-right wheel on compatible Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic vehicles. The caliper mounts to the rear hub bracket, accepts the brake pads and hydraulic connection, and forms the mechanical and hydraulic interface that applies braking force to the rear disc; it is supplied as a complete rear-right caliper assembly for direct replacement where compatible. The matching left-hand rear caliper is part number RTC5890.
Please note: Supersedes an earlier imperial version; replacement of an imperial caliper requires the brake pipe ends to be converted to metric fittings. Earlier RTC5889 and RTC5890 applications used hex-head caliper mounting bolts (571910); later calipers used multi-star headed mounting bolts (FTC3375).
Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.
