Land Rover Part Number: RTC6247 - Rear End Door Panel with Spare Wheel Carrier
RTC6247 is a formed metal rear end door panel supplied without trim or glass and fitted with punched holes to accept the spare wheel carrier. The panel forms the outer skin of the load/tail door and provides the structural surface into which the spare wheel carrier mounts; it replaces a damaged or corroded door skin while leaving separate items such as hinges, seals, trim and glass to be refitted from the original assembly or ordered separately. The punched holes match the standard spare wheel carrier location so the carrier can be bolted or fitted to the panel using the vehicle's existing fixings. When fitting this panel attention is normally required to align the door with adjacent body panels and to transfer any door hardware from the old assembly; welding or panel-bonding methods may be used depending on workshop practice and vehicle condition.
