RTC6399 is a Steering Box Drop Arm for left-hand drive Defender models. It mounts to the Gemmer manual steering box and links the box output to the steering linkage, converting the steering box output into the linear motion required by the drag link or track rod end. Fitted to Defender models up to the 2006 model year, the drop arm locates on the steering box where the output shaft meets the external linkage and must maintain correct geometry and secure attachment to avoid play or misalignment in the steering linkage.
