SDB000646 is a 350mm rear vented brake disc fitted to the rear axle. It provides the rotating friction surface for the rear brake pads, locates onto the rear wheel hub and works within the brake caliper assembly to transfer braking torque. The vented construction contains internal vanes between the friction faces to increase airflow and manage heat during repeated braking, reducing the risk of heat-related fade. Regular inspection of disc thickness, surface condition and run-out is recommended, and replacement should be carried out in matched pairs on the same axle to maintain balanced braking characteristics.
