SEB500450 is a left-hand front brake caliper specified for Defender vehicles fitted with solid (non-vented) front discs. Fitted at the left-hand front wheel, the caliper applies hydraulic pressure to the brake pads, clamping them onto the solid front disc to produce braking force. The assembly mounts to the wheel knuckle and provides the carrier for the pads and guide pins; confirm the vehicle uses solid front discs before fitting.
Supersedes RTC5573 and STC1262. A matching right-hand caliper for the same application is SEB500440.
