SEG000060 is a front brake caliper housing fitted to the front disc brake assembly. The housing locates and supports the caliper pistons, pad carriers and mounting bores, and provides the mounting faces for guide pins or slide carriers so the caliper can align correctly with the rotor. It also provides the hydraulic interface that moves the pistons to apply the brake pads to the disc; correct condition of the housing bores and mounting surfaces is important for even pad wear and consistent brake performance.
