SEG100260 is a right-hand front brake caliper fitted to Freelander vehicles specified with vented front discs. Fitted to the front braking system, the caliper houses the hydraulic piston(s) and pad carriers that apply braking force to the right-hand front disc; hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder moves the piston(s) to press the brake pads against the rotating disc. The caliper locates and retains the pad set and, where fitted, slides on guide pins to permit controlled pad movement as the disc wears.
