SEG500040 is a front right brake caliper. Fitted to the vehicle's front-right wheel, the caliper converts hydraulic pressure into clamping force on the brake pads, producing friction at the front disc to slow or stop the vehicle. The caliper houses the piston(s) and pad contact faces and mounts to the steering knuckle, interfacing directly with the brake pads and disc; correct match to vehicle trim and V.I.N. is required to maintain pad fitment, piston size and the correct right-hand/front orientation.
