Land Rover Part Number: SOB500052 - Rear Left Hand Brake Caliper
SOB500052 is a rear left-hand floating brake caliper. Fitted at the rear left wheel, this floating caliper converts hydraulic pressure into a clamping force that presses the brake pads against the rotor to slow the vehicle; its sliding design allows the caliper to move laterally on guide points so braking pressure is shared across both pads. This is a wheel-end braking component that forms the mechanical interface between the hydraulic brake circuit and the brake pads and disc. Correct selection of left- or right-hand calipers is essential because mounting orientation and hose connections differ.
Please note: This is a standard type floating caliper and will not fit models equipped with Brembo brakes. The caliper does not include copper washers; these are supplied with the brake hose LR058009.
