SPB000150 is a handbrake cable that connects the vehicle's handbrake lever to the transmission-mounted parking brake assembly. Fitted to the transmission brake assembly on applicable Discovery 2 models, the cable transmits mechanical force from the interior handbrake mechanism to apply or release the transmission brake and so holds the vehicle securely when parked. Inspect for wear, corrosion, fraying or restricted movement and replace if function is impaired.
Please note: For earlier models up to VIN XA224663 use part number SPB101500. For a replacement handbrake shoe kit use part number ICW500010. Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.
