SSW100050 is a front ABS wheel speed sensor fitted to the vehicle's front wheels. It detects wheel rotational speed and provides a variable electrical signal to the antilock braking control module so it can monitor rotation and respond to wheel slip; the same part number fits either left or right front wheel positions.
Please note: When removing or fitting the ABS sensors the bush can sometimes break; replacement bush part number FTC1374.

The SSW100050 is a front ABS wheel speed sensor that supplies a wheel-speed signal from a front wheel to the vehicle's antilock braking system. It is mounted close to the front wheel hub or drive flange and produces a variable electrical signal proportional to wheel rotation, allowing the ABS control module to detect slip. The part is interchangeable between left and right front positions; correct mounting and an intact sensor bush maintain the required air gap and signal integrity. If the bush is damaged during removal or fitting it can alter the air gap and affect the signal - the replacement bush is part number FTC1374.
