STC1282 is a left-hand front brake caliper with 41mm pistons. Fitted to the front disc braking system, the fixed 4-pot caliper is for AP Lockheed systems and mounts on vented front discs. The caliper converts hydraulic pressure into mechanical clamping force via four 41mm pistons that push the brake pads onto the rotor; the fixed 4-pot arrangement reduces piston offset, helps maintain even pad contact and wear, and supports higher clamping loads. It locates and secures the pads and provides the piston bores and sealing surfaces required to contain hydraulic fluid.
