STC1611 is a water pump for non viscous 3.5L V8 twin carb petrol engines. Fitted to the engine cooling system, it circulates coolant through the engine block, cylinder head and radiator to remove heat produced during combustion. The assembly contains an impeller, bearings and a mechanical seal and is supplied with a gasket for the pump flange; wear or leakage of these components requires replacement of the complete pump.
