Land Rover Part Number: STC1906 - Rear Right Hand Brake Caliper - Solid Discs
STC1906 is a rear right-hand brake caliper for vehicles fitted with rear solid disc brakes. Located at the right-hand rear wheel, the caliper converts hydraulic pressure into clamping force by means of a piston that pushes the brake pads onto the rotating disc to slow the vehicle. The caliper housing locates the piston and pad carriers and provides the mounting interface to the rear suspension knuckle; correct operation depends on intact seals, smooth sliding surfaces inside the caliper and a secure attachment to the vehicle mounting points. This unit is supplied as the right-hand caliper only; use the corresponding left-hand part number for the opposite side.
