STC1915 is a front left brake caliper for vehicles fitted with vented front discs. Fitted to the left-hand side of the front axle, the caliper houses the piston(s) and pad carriers and uses hydraulic pressure to push the inner pad towards the disc while the caliper body provides the reaction against the outer pad to create the braking clamp. It is supplied as the left-hand unit for the front axle and pairs with the matching right-hand caliper STC1916; when replacing a single caliper, pad condition and the hydraulic system should be inspected.
