STC1917 is a front brake caliper carrier for vented front brake discs. It forms the mounting bracket for the front brake caliper and accepts the guide pins retained under part number STC1920. The carrier locates and supports the caliper on the vehicle's front hub assembly, positioning it correctly over vented discs and transmitting braking loads into the suspension upright; inspect mating faces, mounting holes and guide pin bores for damage or corrosion when replacing and fit new guide pins or hardware as required.
