STC1963 is a left-hand front brake caliper for use with solid (non-vented) front discs. Fitted to the front brakes of Discovery 1 vehicles from VIN MA081992, this caliper converts hydraulic brake pressure into a mechanical clamping force on the left front disc; the body houses the brake piston and provides a secure mounting location for the inner and outer pads while locating to the steering knuckle to ensure correct alignment with the rotor.
