Land Rover Part Number: STC2847 - Seal Kit - Power Steering Box
STC2847 is a power steering box seal kit. Fitted inside the power steering box, the kit replaces worn internal seals to reduce fluid loss where seal wear is the cause.
Please note: Replacing these seals will not always stop a leak; when fitting the kit clean the steering shaft and inspect for pitting, as scored or pitted metal will allow fluid to pass past new seals.

STC2847 provides the seals required to renew the internal sealing surfaces of the power steering box. It is intended to stop fluid loss caused by worn seals, but will not cure leaks caused by a scored or pitted steering shaft-clean and inspect the shaft before fitting.
