STC2871 is a rear end door lock and striker kit for lift-up rear doors. It includes the latch, striker, seal and all nuts, bolts, washers and retainer plates required to replace the rear end door latch mechanism. The kit restores the mechanical locking interface between the latch and striker, provides a weatherproof seal around the latch area and supplies the fixings and retainer plates needed to ensure correct alignment and secure refitment. It also fits the right-hand door on Series vehicles and is supplied to match the latch configuration used on Defender rear end doors up to VIN LA939975.
