STC3671 is a rear shock absorber for the rear air suspension. Fitted to the rear air suspension of Range Rover P38 models from VIN VA348054, this damper replaces part number STC1881 and can be fitted to either the left or right side. The damper controls vertical movement of the vehicle body by damping oscillation from the air spring; the assembly includes a piston and valve arrangement tuned for P38 rear air suspension characteristics and is supplied as a single unit. Exterior damage, fluid leaks or pronounced vibration at the rear axle indicate the damper may require replacement.
