STC3672 is a front shock absorber for air suspension fitted to the front suspension of Range Rover P38 models with Dunlop air springs. It controls compression and rebound damping on the front axle, working with the vehicle's air springs and electronic air suspension to manage body movement, suspension travel and wheel control when encountering road inputs or load changes; this reduces pitching and nosing under braking or acceleration and helps limit harsh rebound after wheel drop. The damper is matched to the P38 front suspension geometry and mounting points - inspect mounting bushes and top mounts when replacing, as worn ancillary components affect damping performance and ride behaviour.
Please note: For vehicles fitted with Firestone air springs, generally found on hot climate specification vehicles, use part number RSC500010.
