STC4177 is a rocker cover gasket for the 2.5 Diesel (BMW M51) engine fitted to the Range Rover P38. This gasket seals the joint between the rocker (valve) cover and the cylinder head to prevent oil escaping from the valve gear area and to maintain correct oil containment around the top of the engine.
